This former Flyers defenseman is having a very good season in the KHL.

During the off-season, former Philadelphia Flyers and Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Egor Zamula signed with CSKA Moscow of the KHL.

So far, Zamula's decision to sign in the KHL is paying off big time. This is because the 26-year-old defenseman is having a fantastic start to the season with CSKA Moscow. 

In 11 games so far this season with the KHL club, Zamula has scored one goal and has an impressive 10 points. With numbers like these, Zamula is undoubtedly providing strong offense from the point for CSKA Moscow so far this season.

Zamula will now be looking to continue to thrive as the KHL season rolls on. It will be interesting to see if he can keep this kind of play up from here. 

Zamula spent six seasons in the NHL from 2020-21 to 2025-26. In 188 career NHL games split between the Flyers and Blue Jackets, the 6-foot-3 defenseman recorded eight goals, 35 assists, 43 points, 243 blocks, and a minus-19 rating.
