
The AHL’s elite marksman returns to Sweden, bringing a lethal 43-goal pedigree to his former club. Fagemo's three-year deal bolsters Frölunda’s offense with proven top-tier professional scoring power.
Frölunda HC just added one of the best scorers in the AHL, Samuel Fagemo, to a three-year deal.
The former Manitoba Moose forward is heading home to Sweden to join Frölunda HC of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL).
Fagemo, 26, has been a dominant player in the AHL during his time. He had 151 goals and 86 assists for 237 points. His career high in goals, assists, and points was in 2023-24, when he scored 43 goals and 19 assists for 62 points in 50 games.
He spent the majority of his career with the Ontario Reign, the AHL affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings. However, as mentioned above, he was a member of the Moose last season, the AHL affiliate of the Winnipeg Jets.
He had 19 goals and 16 assists for 35 points and a -22 rating in 72 games.
