After a hard-fought 2-0 win against the Ottawa Senators on Jan. 23, the Boston Bruins returned to practice on Jan. 24. Bruins star goalie Jeremy Swayman participated in practice after not dressing against the Senators due to an injury.
Following practice, Bruins head coach Joe Sacco said that Swayman "should be an option" for the Original Six club's Jan. 25 matchup against the Colorado Avalanche.
Jeremy SwaymanHearing that Swayman should already be an option against the Avalanche is great news for the Bruins. The Bruins need every point they can get in the tight Eastern Conference standings, so getting their star back between the pipes would be massive.
In 35 games this season with the Bruins, Swayman has a 15-16-4 record, a 3.00 goals-against average, and a .896 save percentage.
