Dartmouth College is coming off its best season in program history. How will this year's freshman class for the Big Green help bring them back to the ECAC title game, where they were just this past season?

It couldn’t have gone much better for the Dartmouth Big Green last season: a program-record 23 wins, the ECAC title, and an appearance at the Frozen Four. With head coach Reid Cashman heading into year six, let’s dive into this year’s freshman class for Cashman and the Big Green.

All entry years are from CollegeHockeyNews and are subject to change. Players are listed alphabetically by last name.

Jesse Allecia – Right Winger, Drummondville Voltigeurs (QMJHL)

Allecia played two seasons in the QMJHL, where in his last season he just sneaked by the point-per-game mark with 23 goals and 65 points in 64 games. That was a 43 point increase from the year before.

He also made the playoffs in both seasons with the Voltigeurs, and in his first appearance, he posted seven points in seven games.

Indiana Grossbard – Center, Nanaimo Clippers (BCHL)

Grossbard is heading onto campus with just one season of junior hockey under his belt. In his only season with the Clippers, he put up 26 points in 54 games.

At five-foot-nine and 150 pounds, Grossbard can play both down the middle and on the wing; due to his size, he may start this season as a winger.

Ryan Harvey – Defenseman, Cowichan Valley Capitals (BCHL)

Harvey is the only freshman defenseman in this class, and you can see why Cashman and his staff made sure they got him.

Harvey was the Valley Capitals captain this past season and posted 32 points in 48 games. He also put up six points in 13 games this past season.

Marko Lisica – Left Winger, Okotoks Oilers (BCHL)

Lisica adds to the long list of BCHL players joining the team this season; similar to Grossbard, he only had one season of junior hockey. In his one season in Okotoks, he played 50 games and put up eleven points.

Dartmouth is once again giving a chance to a player who hasn’t put a lot of miles on their skates.

Stefano Pietrantonio – Right Winger, Blainville-Boisbriand Armada (QMJHL)

Pietrantonio adds to the theme of playing one junior season, as he did in the QMJHL. In 27 games with the Armada, he put up three points.

He still has the time and frame at six-feet, 192 pounds to play an all-situations type of role. He could see time on the penalty kill as soon as next season.

Grayden Robertson-Palmer –Center, Moncton Wildcats (QMJHL)

Robertson-Palmer is the only freshman in this class to be drafted in the NHL. The Detroit Red Wings' seventh-round pick in 2025 had 11 points in 55 games for the Wildcats this past season.

Known for his puck protection, he will be able to bring some all-around play to the Big Green next season.

Grant Young –Center, Cedar Rapids Roughriders (USHL)

Last but not least, Young was the only player in this group who didn’t play in Canada last year. In his 43 games for the Roughriders, he put up 14 goals and 28 points.

The Boulder, Colorado native played three seasons in the USHL, combining for 153 games in that span.
