Former Sioux Falls Stampede forward Logan Renkowski has committed to Vermont, it was announced earlier this week.
Renkowski, who hails from Nesconset, N.Y., split time last season between the Stampede and NAHL's New Jersey Jr. Titans. Through 26 NAHL games, Renkowski scored 16 goals and added seven assists for 23 points, while putting up six goals and 11 points in 30 USHL games.
Having made the jump to the junior level at the end of the 2021-22 season, Renkowski got into 58 career USHL games with the Stampede and the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders, putting up seven goals and six assists for 13 points.
With Renkowski heading off to Vermont, he foregoes his final year of junior eligibility. A talented forward who needs little time or space to create with the puck, Renkowski should be an intriguing add for the Catamounts.
