Lacroix is currently playing for the BCHL's Brooks Bandits

Brooks Bandits forward A.J. Lacroix has committed to UMass, it was announced late last week.

Lacroix, a product of Livingston, N.J., joined the Bandits midway through the season after beginning the year with the USHL's Tri-City Storm. Having put up one goal in seven games for the Storm, Lacroix then joined the Bandits and has collected seven goals and 16 points in 25 games.

Besides his time with the Storm and the Bandits, Lacroix started out his junior career in 2021-22 with the Chilliwack Chiefs. Across 131 career BCHL regular season games, Lacroix has put up 100 points.

With Lacroix set to join the Minutemen this fall, he will have the chance to show off his high IQ game in the offensive zone. He has the ability to make plays through seams and makes it difficult for the opposition when he has the puck.
