
Maine netminder Albin Boija was named Hockey East Player of the Week, it was announced on Monday.
Boija made 55 saves in two games for the Black Bears this past weekend against New Hampshire, 23 in Friday's 1-1 tie and shootout win, and 22 in Saturday's 5-2 victory.
A native of Sundsvall, SWE, Boija has made a leap in his second season with Maine, posting a .931 save percentage and four shutouts in 28 games.
