Rouyn-Noranda Huskies defenseman Alex Carr has committed to New Hampshire, it was announced earlier this week.
Hailing from Sackville, N.S., Carr is currently in his overage season with the Huskies where he has put up three goals and 15 assists for 18 points in 23 games.
Drafted by the Halifax Mooseheads in the fourth round of the 2020 QMJHL Draft, Carr has played only five games with the team during his time in the 'Q'. Through 179 career regular season games over parts of five seasons, Carr has accumulated 15 goals and 80 points.
Joining the long list of CHL players to commit to an NCAA school, Carr has shown an ability to make an impact at both ends of the ice. The Wildcats have clearly liked what they've seen and Carr has all the attributes needed to make the jump.
