Rimouski Oceanic forward Alexandre Blais has committed to UConn, it was announced on Monday.

A native of Longueuil, Que., Blais scored 20 goals and recorded 53 assists in 60 regular season games for the Oceanic this past season.

Blais was selected in the fourth round, 100th overall, by the Anaheim Ducks in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft.

A 2005-born skater, Blais will now make the jump to the NCAA and join the Huskies for the 2025-26 season.
