Brekelmans is playing for the Culver Military Academy 16U AAA

Austin Brekelmans, a forward for the Culver Military Academy, has committed to Bowling Green, it was announced late last week.

In 35 games for the Culver Military Academy's 16 AAA team this season, Brekelmans has 47 points (25 goals, 22 assists).

A native of Strathroy, ON, Brekelmans was selected in the seventh round of the 2024 OHL Draft by the North Bay Battalion.

A 2008-born skater, Brekelmans already is listed at six feet tall and 187 pounds. He'll have plenty of time to continue to grow and develop as a player before he makes the jump to Bowling Green.
