Former UMass forward Bobby Trivigno has signed a two-year deal with Brynas IF in the SHL, the team announced Thursday.
A native of Setauket, N.Y., Trivigno spent this past season with the Hartford Wolf Pack (AHL), collecting four goals and 12 assists for 16 points in 49 regular season games. He also got into two playoff games with Hartford but was held pointless.
Prior to jump into the pro game at the end of 2021-22, Trivigno spent four seasons at UMass, putting up 131 points in 139 career games.
While the bigger ice surfaces could pose a challenge off the bat, Trivigno should become a reliable offensive contributor with Brynas.
