

Penticton Vees forward Boomer DeMars has committed to North Dakota, it was announced on Wednesday.
A native of Hugo, Minn., DeMars played for the Long Island Gulls 15U AAA team last season, where he tallied 69 points (32 goals, 37 assists) in 50 games.
A 2009-born skater, DeMars will make the jump to the WHL to play for the Vees for the 2025-26 season before making the jump to the NCAA to play for the Fighting Hawks.
