The native of Rockville Centre, N.Y., Wilmer just wrapped up his sophomore season with the Terriers

Boston University forward Jeremy Wilmer has transferred to Quinnipiac, it was announced Monday.
Having entered the transfer portal three weeks ago, Wilmer joins the Bobcats after spending the past two seasons with the Terriers.
While the Terriers' season ended in disappointment with a loss in the Frozen Four semifinals, Wilmer was a difference maker for the team. In 38 games played this season, he scored six goals and added 30 assists for 36 points, finishing fifth on the team in total points.
Over the course of his two seasons at Boston University, Wilmer had 15 goals and 53 assists for 68 points in 75 career NCAA games.
Before joining the Terriers, Wilmer played his junior hockey for the U.S. NTDP and the Tri-City Storm (USHL), collecting 70 points in 84 games across two seasons with the NTDP and 98 points in 60 games in his lone season with the Storm.
With two seasons of eligibility remaining, the Bobcats must be thrilled to have Wilmer joining the program. Close to a point-per-game across his two NCAA seasons, Wilmer joins a Bobcats team looking to get back to the Frozen Four.
While it remains to be seen what role Wilmer will play at Quinnipiac, it will likely be a large one. With the chance to be a go-to guy for the Bobcats, Wilmer is going to be one to watch for next season.
