The Bruins prospect entered the transfer portal earlier this month
Former Boston University defenseman Ty Gallagher has transferred to Colorado College, it was announced Wednesday.
The 2021 seventh round pick (217th overall) of the Boston Bruins spent three seasons with the Terriers, collecting 42 points in 111 games.
After seeing his production fall off this year, Gallagher heads to a Tigers program in his last year of eligibility with the hopes of earning an NHL contract.
With the recent addition of Red Wings prospect Brady Cleveland as well, the Tigers have bolstered their backend this offseason. After finishing fourth in the NCHC standings this past season (eight points behind North Dakota for first), the Tigers hope their new additions can propel them to a few more points next season.
