Victoria Royals forward Brayden Boehm has committed to Michigan Tech, it was announced earlier this week.
A product of Nanaimo, B.C., Boehm is in his overage season with the Royals, having put up 15 goals and 24 assists for 39 points in 41 games. Prior to being traded to the Royals in October, Boehm appeared in four games for the Medicine Hat Tigers to begin the season and collected an assist.
Drafted by the Tigers in the second round of the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft, Boehm has appeared in 195 career WHL regular season games, putting together a stat line of 46 goals and 63 assists for 109 points.
With Boehm heading to the Huskies this fall, he will likely be afforded to opportunity to play a big role out of the gates. As someone who can drive play and create scoring opportunities off the rush, Boehm will be a nice addition to the Huskies roster.
