Leamington Flyers forward Brody Cook has committed to UMass, it was announced earlier this week.

Cook, a product of Birmingham, Mich., is in his rookie season with the Flyers, having scored 16 goals and adding 31 assists for 47 points in 55 games. Cook also recently signed with the OHL's London Knights as an undrafted free agent.

Prior to making the jump to the OJHL, Cook spent last season playing for Compuware 16U where he collected 24 goals and 48 points in 59 games. Drafted by the Waterloo Black Hawks in the 20th round of the 2023 USHL Entry Draft, Cook also appeared in two games with the team but went pointless.

With Cook committed to joining the Minutemen in 2026, he will likely make the transition to the Knights this fall. As someone who has the ability to make those around him better, Cook will have the opportunity to develop even more in the OHL before heading off to school.
