Lincoln Stars forward Bruno Idzan has committed to Wisconsin, it was announced Monday.

Idzan, a product of Zagreb, Croatia, is in his first season with the Stars, collecting 13 goals and 16 assists for 29 points in 21 games. Before making his way to Lincoln and the USHL, Idzan began this year with KHL Sisak of the AlpsHL, putting up 21 goals and 30 points in 19 games.

Besides playing in his home country, prior to coming to North America, Idzan spent time playing hockey in Sweden and Slovenia.

As Idzan gets set to join the Badgers this fall, he will have the opportunity to continue to hone his craft with the Stars before making the jump to the NCAA. As someone who displays a high work ethic and a solid touch around the net, Idzan is a good pick up for Wisconsin.
