
Former Minnesota State defenseman Cade Alami has signed with the ECHL's Tahoe Knight Monsters, it was announced late last week.
Alami, a product of Bedford, N.Y., was in his first season with the Mavericks, going pointless in six games with the team. Prior to joining Minnesota State, Alami spent two seasons at Boston College and one at Arizona State.
Over the course of 59 career NCAA games across parts of four seasons, Alami collected six assists.
With Alami now making the jump to the pro game, he will have the chance to make a name for himself with the Knight Monsters. As someone who stands at 6-foot-7, Alami brings intriguing size and will be one to watch over the next little while as he adjusts to the pro game.
