Sherman will join the Vikings in 2027
Rosemount High forward Cade Sherman has committed to Augustana, it was announced earlier this week.
A product of Rosemount, Minn., Sherman is currently leading his team in points, having put up 20 goals and 23 assists for 43 points in 22 games.
Having been with the Irish for parts of three seasons, Sherman has collected 30 goals and 34 assists for 64 points in 55 career games. Sherman has also spent time playing minor hockey for the MN Moose and Team Westwood.
Born in 2007, Sherman still has a long runway ahead of him when it comes to his development. With two seasons remaining before making the jump to the Vikings, Sherman will likely take his skills to the junior level next tear. A talented player who does damage when he has the puck, Sherman will be one to watch over the following years.
