

Medicine Hat Tigers goaltender Carter Casey has committed to Minnesota, it was announced on Monday.
A native of Grand Rapids, Minn., Casey played his high school season for Grand Rapids High in Minnesota last season, where he recorded a .912 save percentage.
Following his high school season, Casey appeared in just five regular season games for the Waterloo Black Hawks in the USHL but was crucial in its playoff run, recording a .918 save percentage and two shutouts in 15 appearances.
A 2007-born netminder, Casey will join the WHL and play for the Tigers next season and will make the jump to the NCAA and join the Golden Gophers for the 2027-28 season.
