Swift Current Broncos forward Clarke Caswell has committed to Denver, it was announced earlier this week.
Caswell, a 2024 fifth round pick of the Seattle Kraken, just finished his third full season in the WHL, collecting 22 goals and 62 assists for 84 points in 65 regular season games. In a further five playoff games with the Broncos, Caswell collected four points.
Drafted by Swift Current in the first round of the 2021 WHL Bantam Draft, Caswell appeared in 199 career WHL regular season games with the Broncos over parts of four seasons. In that time, he scored 57 goals and added 134 assists for 191 points.
With Caswell joining the Pioneers, he is one of the first CHL players with numerous years of junior eligibility left to head off to the NCAA. As a talented, puck distributing forward, Caswell will be an immediate contributor for Denver as they look to avenge their defeat in the Frozen Four semifinals from this past season.
