Tri-City Storm defenseman Cole Ward has committed to Michigan State, it was announced Friday.
Previously committed to Northern Michigan, Ward split time between the Storm and the NAHL's Austin Bruins this season, posting eight points (two goals, six assists) across 50 regular season games.
A 2005-born skater, Ward is expected to make the jump to the NCAA and join the Spartans for the 2026-27 season.
