Former St. Cloud State defenseman Colin Ralph has transferred to Michigan State, it was announced earlier this week.
Drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the second round of the 2024 NHL Draft, Ralph just finished his freshman season with the Huskies, scoring one goal and adding seven assists for eight points in 35 games.
Before making his way to St. Cloud State, Ralph played parts of two seasons with Shattuck St Mary's 18U Prep and a couple of games for the USHL's Dubuque Fighting Saints.
With Ralph joining the Spartans for next season, they will be getting a solid defensive defenseman with the potential to contribute offensively in certain situations. Standing at 6-foot-5, Ralph knows how to use his size to his advantage and will be one to monitor over the following seasons.
