The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed forward Connor Kurth to a two-year entry-level deal, it was announced Saturday.

Kurth, a 2022 sixth round pick of the Lightning, will join the Syracuse Crunch for the remainder of the season.

Having just wrapped up his junior season with Minnesota, Kurth scored 18 goals and added 21 assists for 39 points in 40 games. Across his three seasons with the Golden Gophers, he collected 32 goals and 39 assists for 71 points in 115 games.

Prior to making the jump to the NCAA, Kurth played his minor hockey with the MN Gentry Galaxy, MN Blackhawks, MN Kings and Gentry Academy as well as two seasons with the USHL's Dubuque Fighting Saints.

With Kurth making the transition to the pro game, the Lightning will be adding a solid prospect into their system. A skilled player with the puck in the offensive zone, do not be surprised to see Kurth in the NHL in due time.
