Wisconsin defenseman Daniel Laatsch has signed a two-year, entry-level contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins, it was announced earlier this week.

Laatsch just concluded his NCAA career with the Badgers, recording 26 points (six goals, 20 assists) in four seasons with Wisconsin.

Laatsch was selected by the Penguins in the seventh round, 215th overall, in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. According to the Penguins, Laatsch's contract will begin in the 2025-26 season.
