Foley just finished his freshman season with the Big Green

Darmouth defenseman C.J. Foley will join the Florida Panthers for development camp, Mark Divver reported Wednesday

Foley, who is coming off his freshman season with the Big Green, had five goals and 15 assists for 20 points in 32 games.

Prior to making the jump to the NCAA, Foley played one season with the Salmon Arm Silverbacks (BCHL) where he collected 27 points in 48 games.

A product of Hanover, MA., Foley led all Big Green defenders in points as a freshman. If he can impress Panthers staff, he is a great candidate to earn an entry-level deal.

With a good offseason, he will be one to watch when the Big Green take the ice again in the fall.
