Nick King-Lansing State JournalUnited States National Development Team defenseman Diego Gutierrez has committed to Notre Dame, it was announced on Sunday.
A native of McAllen, Texas, Gutierrez played for Shattuck St. Mary's 16U AAA team last season, where he tallied eight goals and 35 assists in 48 games.
A 2009-born blueliner, Gutierrez will join the NTDP for the upcoming season before making the jump to the NCAA to play for the Fighting Irish in 2027-28.
