    Sudbury Wolves defenseman Donovan McCoy has committed to Providence, it was announced on Tuesday.

    A native of Belleville, Ontario, McCoy captained the Wolves this past year, tallying five goals and 22 assists in 58 regular season games.

    McCoy appeared in 251 regular season OHL games between Sudbury and the Peterborough Petes, recording 94 points (16 goals, 78 assists).

    A 2004-born skater, McCoy will now make the jump to the NCAA and join the Friars for the 2025-26 season.
