Muskegon Lumberjacks forward Drew Stewart has committed to Dartmouth, it was announced Wednesday.

A product of Minnetonka, Minn., Stewart just finished his second full season in the USHL, splitting time between the Lumberjacks and the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders. Over a combined 60 regular season games, he scored 15 goals and added 14 assists for 29 points. With Muskegon being crowned Clark Cup champions, Stewart put up four assists in 14 playoff games.

Over his USHL career, Stewart appeared in 115 career regular season games, collecting 23 goals and 29 assists for 52 points. Prior to his junior career, Stewart played three years of high school hockey at Benilde-St. Margaret's School.

As Stewart gets set to head off and join the Big Green, he will be bringing a hard-working attitude along with an ability to create with the puck on his stick. Although some players may experience an adjustment curve, Stewart's skills should allow him to make a difference soon enough.
