The list included six players from four different schools

ECAC released their pre-season All-ECAC team Wednesday, with players from four different schools making the list. 

Those included were forwards Dalton Bancroft (Cornell), Luke Haymes (Dartmouth), and Mason Marcellus (Quinnipiac), defensemen John Prokop (Union) and Ben Robertson (Cornell) as well as goaltender Ian Shane (Cornell). 

Bancroft, a product of Centre Hastings, Ont., just finished his sophomore season with the Big Red, posting 12 goals and 19 assists for 31 points in 34 games. 

Another player who just finished his sophomore season, Haymes scored 18 goals and added 18 assists for 36 points in 31 games with Dartmouth. 

A freshman last season, Marcellus was a difference maker for the Bobcats, putting up 14 goals and 22 assists for 36 points in 39 games.

In terms of defensemen, both Prokop and Robertson posted solid offensive numbers for their respective teams. Prokop had 35 points in 36 games while patrolling the Garnet Chargers blueline while Robertson put up 23 points in 35 games with Cornell.

Voted unanimously to this list, Shane posted a record of 22-5-6, a  1.69 GAA and a .923 SV% in 34 appearances with the Big Red.
