The ECHL's Worcester Railers have signed former Michigan defenseman Griffin Luce to a one-year deal, it was announced Friday.

The Williiamsville, N.Y., product split this past season between the Atlanta Gladiators (ECHL) and the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL). In seven games with Milwaukee, he collected two assists. With Atlanta, Luce scored three goals and added nine assists for 12 points in 63 regular season games.

Prior to turning pro in 2020-21, Luce spent four seasons playing for the Wolverines, putting up three goals and 11 assists for 14 points in 131 games.

As Luce gets set to join the Railers, he will most likely play a big role for the team right off the bat. With last season being the first of his pro career where he spent more time in the ECHL than the AHL, Luce will be bringing his experience to the team to try and guide them all the way to the Kelly Cup.
