Former Chicoutimi Saguenéens forward Félix Gagnon has committed to New Hampshire, it was announced earlier this week.

Gagnon, who hails from Saguenay, Que., recently wrapped up his overage season in the QMJHL, putting up 24 goals and 30 assists for 54 points in 61 regular season games with Chicoutimi. Gagnon also got into 11 playoff games, collecting four points.

Drafted by the Baie-Comeau Drakkar in the second round of the 2020 QMJHL Entry Draft, Gagnon wraps up his junior hockey career having played 280 career regular season games with the Drakkar and the Saguenéens. In that span, he scored 77 goals and added 103 assists for 180 points.

In adding Gagnon, the Wildcats are getting a high-octane player who makes things happen when he gets the puck on his stick. Having proven to be a difference maker in the 'Q', Gagnon should have no problem replicating that in the NCAA out of the gates.
