The Tucson Roadrunners have re-signed former Fighting Hawk forward Austin Poganski to a two-year deal, the team announced Monday.
A native of St. Cloud, Minn., Poganski spent the 2023-24 season with the Roadrunners, scoring 14 goals and adding 17 assists for 31 points in 63 regular season games. Poganski also saw two playoff games with Tucson but was held pointless.
Prior to turning pro at the end of the 2017-18 season, Poganski spent four years playing for North Dakota where he had 84 points in 162 career games.
Drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the fourth round of the 2014 NHL Draft, Poganski has played in 22 career NHL games but has not registered a point. Currently averaging half a point per game throughout his AHL career, Poganski will be an important contributor for the Roadunners over the next two seasons.
