Djurasevic played his freshman season with Merrimack in 2023-24

Former Merrimack defender Frank Djurasevic has committed to Maine, it was announced this past week.

A product of New Rochelle, N.Y., Djurasevic scored four goals and added six assists for 10 points in 35 games with the Warriors this past season.

Prior to making the jump to the NCAA, Djurasevic played for the Penticton Vees where he had 23 goals and 82 assists for 105 points in 161 games over parts of three seasons.

With Djurasevic coming in to join the fold, he will join a talented core of players that includes Josh Nadeau, David Breazeale, Harrison Scott and Lynden Breen.

After Maine finished third in the Hockey East in 2023-24, they will be hoping to repeat their successful season next year. While they lost one of their top players in Bradly Nadeau, the Black Bears have done a good job of keeping players and attracting new talent.
