The Utah Hockey Club have signed defenseman Michael Kesselring to a two-year extension, the team announced Friday.
A product of New Hampton, N.H., Kesselring split the 2023-24 season with the Arizona Coyotes and the Tucson Roadrunners. In 65 regular season games with the Coyotes, he scored five goals and added 16 assists for 21 points. With Tucson, Kesselring was held pointless in six regular season games. He also appeared in two playoff games with the team, but didn't register a point.
A 2018 sixth round pick of the Edmonton Oilers, Kesselring played two seasons with the Huskies from 2019-2021, collecting seven goals and six assists for 13 points in 54 games.
"We are very pleased to have Michael as part of our club," said Bill Armstrong, general manager of the Utah Hockey Club in the team's press release. "He skates well, moves the puck effectively, and has a strong shot that can provide offense from the blueline."
