
Former University of North Dakota forward Grant Mismash has signed a one-year deal with the Belfast Giants, it was reported Wednesday.
A 2017 second-round pick of the Nashville Predators, Mismash split this season between Ostersunds IK (HockeyAllsvenskan) and Stjernen Hockey (Norway).
In 16 games with Ostersunds, Mismash had two goals and five assists for seven points while collecting 33 points in 24 regular season games with Stjernen.
Mismash also appeared in five playoff games for Stjernen, collecting six assists in the process.
Prior to embarking on his professional career, Mismash spent four seasons with the Fighting Hawks between 2017-2021, collecting 71 points in 117 career games.
As Mismash heads to Belfast and the EIHL, he will be one to watch for British and Irish hockey fans as he has the skills to come in and make an immediate impact.
