    Ethen Frank, the Former Western Michigan forward, won the AHL's Fastest Skater competition last night during the All-Star Skills challenges. 

    Frank, 26, won his second consecutive CCM Fastest Skater title with a time of 13.032 seconds last night. Only his record-setting lap of 12.915 seconds in 2023 has been faster in the event’s history.

    The 5-foot-10 forward has played in 46 games for the Hersey Bears in the AHL this season where he has recorded 21 goals and 35 points. 

    The former collegiate star played in 158 career games with Western Michigan where he recorded 70 goals and 118 points across five seasons with the Broncos. 

    Frank competed in his second consecutive All-Star game in his second full season in the AHL. He played five AHL games during the 2021-22 season after his season ended with the Broncos.
