I have covered Michigan Wolverines Men's Hockey for the past two seasons at The Michigan Daily. I will transition into a more full-time role covering college hockey for The Hockey News as the season progresses.
What to expect
I've been a lifelong hockey fan since my dad had me watching the Red Wings win the 2002 Stanley Cup as a 2-month-old baby. OK, that might be hyperbole, but it's hard to imagine my life without watching and writing about hockey.
In my role with The Daily, I had the privilege to cover two Big Ten Tournament championships, two Frozen Fours and a multitude of NHL draft picks. If you're curious what that looks like, find out more here once you scroll past the football coverage.
While the Big Ten will always hold a place in my heart, I want to take a more national approach to my coverage on this site. From Stonehill to Minnesota, every team is full of characters and dreams. Nothing is more rewarding than telling those stories to the masses.
