Former Arizona State goaltender Gibson Homer has transferred to North Dakota, it was announced earlier this week.
A product of Grand Rapids, Mich., Homer spent the past three seasons with the Sun Devils, posting a record of 8-5-2 this season to go along with a 2.56 GAA and a .919 SP. Across 30 career NCAA appearances, Homer has posted a stat-line of 16-8-4, a 2.32 GAA and a .924 SP.
Prior to making the trek to Arizona, Homer spent two years with the U.S. NTDP and one season in the USHL with the Chicago Steel.
With two years of eligibility remaining (he did not make an appearance with the Sun Devils in the 2022-23 season), Homer should be a solid addition to the Fighting Hawks. Standing at 6-foot-5, Homer has the size that many look for in a goaltender and he will garner pro looks as soon as his NCAA career winds to a close.
