The Vegas Golden Knights have invited Holy Cross forward Jack Stockfish to their development camp, Mark Divver reported Wednesday.
Stockfish, a product of North Bay, Ont., just finished his freshman season with the Crusaders where he had nine goals and 16 assists for 25 points in 32 games.
Prior to joining Holy Cross, Stockfish played his junior hockey with the Powassan VooDoos (NOJHL), Pembroke Lumber Kings (CCHL) and Prince George Spruce Kings (BCHL).
Stockfish's best offensive output came with the Lumber Kings in 2021-22 when he had 50 points in 47 games.
As Stockfish enters next season, he will be a major driving force for the Crusaders. If he can continue to replicate what gave him success this past year, he will be a thorn in opponents' sides for the foreseeable future.
