NHL teams are starting to send out invites to development camps, many NCAA players among those invited

Quinn Hutson, Doug Grimes and Cy LeClerc are amongst the handful of NCAA players who have been invited to NHL development camps.
While invites are starting to be sent out, most NHL teams' development camps take place in early July.
Here are the NCAA players confirmed to have been invited to camps so far:
Hutson, who played for Boston University this past season alongside his brother Lane, is heading to Toronto.
Hutson, who finished tied for third on the Terriers in points with 36, is a good candidate to sign an entry-level deal. He proved he was a go-to player for BU this past season and makes great decisions with the puck on his stick.
LeClerc, who suited up for his sophomore season with New Hampshire this year, is going to Detroit.
A native of Brentwood, NH., he finished second on the Wildcats in points with 28. Through two seasons with the team, he has 23 goals and 48 points in 71 games.
Having just wrapped up his freshman season with the Terriers, Grimes received an invite to join the Devils.
Although he finished with three points in 28 games, Grimes is an intriguing player. He finished as a point-per-game player in his final USHL season with the Lincoln Stars and should get an increased role next season.
The Red Wings have extended an invite to David Breazeale as well.
A product of Grandville, MI., Breazeale just finished his third season with the University of Maine and first as captain of the team.
Through 106 career NCAA games, Breazeale has five goals and 33 assists for 38 points. His best offensive output came during his freshman season when he had 16 points in 33 games from the backend.
Having wrapped up his sophomore season with Boston College this year, Lukas Gustafsson is joining Vegas for development camp.
In 41 games with the Eagles, Gustafsson scored three goals and added 13 assists for 16 points. Over the course of his 76 career NCAA games, he has six goals and 29 assists for 35 points.
Larson, who just finished his first season at Michigan State, is heading to Anaheim.
Although it was his first season in green and white, Larson had an immediate impact, leading the team in goals with 16. Having finished with 32 points in 38 games, Larson is a good add for the Ducks and is another candidate who could earn an ELC.
An important player for Northeastern over his two years with the Huskies, Williams is joining the Flyers for development camp.
Eclipsing a point-per-game this past season, Williams finished third on the team in points with 36. Over the course of his 69 games with the Huskies, he has collected 53 points.
Although this is the first round of names to come out, more names will emerge as development camps start dates slowly creep closer.
