Madison Capitols forward Ian Scherzer has committed to RPI, it was announced on Sunday.

A native of Villach, Austria, Scherzer played in 39 USHL games for the Capitols in 2024-25, where he tallied eight goals and 12 assists.

A 2005-born skater, Scherzer was previously committed to Miami but will now make the jump and join the Engineers for the 2025-26 season.
