

Cape Breton Eagles forward Jacob Newcombe has committed to New Hampshire, it was announced late last week.
A native of Halifax, NS, Newcombe captains the Eagles and has 61 points (32 goals, 29 assists) in 56 regular season games this season.
In 217 QMJHL regular season games between the Eagles and Chicoutimi Saguenéens, Newcombe tallied 167 points (82 goals, 85 assists).
A 2004-born skater, Newcombe is expected to make the jump to New Hampshire at the conclusion of his junior eligibility.
