Moncton Wildcats goaltender Jacob Steinman has committed to Bowling Green, it was announced this past week.
A product of Cambridge, Ont., Steinman is in his third season with the Wildcats, having posted a 12-3-2 record to go along with a 1.97 GAA and a .931 SV% through 18 appearances so far.
Over 113 career regular season QMJHL appearances, Steinman has posted a 58-36-7 record, a 2.98 GAA and a .904 SV% to go along with six shutouts.
Having gone undrafted into the OHL, Steinman played a year in the GOJHL with the Ayr Centennials before making his way to Moncton prior to the 2022-23 season.
With Steinman sitting in first place amongst all QMJHL goalies in GAA and second in save percentage, he has been virtually unbeatable for the Wildcats this season. Set to join the Falcons next year, Steinman could be an under the radar add for Bowling Green.
