Former University of North Dakota forward Jayden Perron has transferred to Michigan, it was announced earlier this week.
Perron, a 2023 third round pick of the Carolina Hurricanes, recently wrapped up his sophomore season with the Fighting Hawks, collecting 10 goals and nine assists for 19 points in 31 games. Across a total of 70 career NCAA games, Perron has 21 goals and 16 assists for 37 points.
Before making the transition to the NCAA, Perron spent two seasons with the USHL's Chicago Steel, putting up 41 goals and 117 points in 121 regular season games.
With Perron making the move to join the Wolverines, Michigan will be getting a highly skilled player who has the chance to take off offensively. His quick thinking skills with the puck allow him to be a threat to create whenever he touches it and he should fit well in the blue and yellow.
