    Guelph Storm forward Jake Karabela has committed to Ohio State, it was announced late last week.

    A native of Guelph, ON, Karabela has 32 points (11 goals, 21 assists) in 48 regular season games for the Storm this season.

    In four OHL seasons with Guelph, Karabela has played 249 regular season games, tallying 171 points (66 goals, 105 assists).

    Karabela was selected by the Washington Capitals in the fifth round, 149th overall, in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft.

    A 2004-born skater, Karabela will make the jump to the NCAA and join the Buckeyes for the 2025-26 season.
