

Victoria Royals goaltender Johnny Hicks has committed to Denver, it was announced on Saturday.
A native of Kamloops, BC, Hicks posted a .909 save percentage in 15 regular season games for the Royals this season. He also appeared in 21 regular season games for the Brooks Bandits in the BCHL, where he posted a .943 save percentage with six shutouts.
A 2005-born netminder, Hicks is expected to join the Pioneers for the 2025-26 season.
