Lincoln Stars forward Kade Kohanski has committed to Minnesota Duluth, he announced via social media Sunday.
Kohanski, who hails from Hermantown, Minn., is in his first season with the Stars where he has collected seven goals and 19 assists for 26 points in 51 games. Kohanski has also spent parts of two seasons in the NAHL with the Bismarck Bobcats, accumulating 52 points in 69 games.
Prior to making the jump to the junior level at the end of the 2022-23 season, Kohanski played his minor hockey with the MN Blue Ox, MN North Stars, Hermantown Bantam, and Team Kowalski's.
With Kohanski scheduled to join the Bulldogs in the fall, he will be bringing a smart two-way game with him. Capable of making plays under pressure, Kohanski processes the game well and needs little time to make an impact. As time goes on, Kohanski will only naturally grow into a difference maker for the Bulldogs.
