    Minnesota Wilderness defenseman Karson Young has committed to Minnesota-Duluth, it was announced on Thursday.

    A native of Cloquet, Minn., Young appeared in 26 regular season games for the Wilderness in the NAHL this past season and scored three goals and recorded six assists.

    Young also played for Cloquet High in the USHS-MN for the 2024-25 season and tallied 38 points (nine goals, 29 assists) in 28 games.

    A 2006-born skater, Young will make the jump to the NCAA and join the Bulldogs for the 2026-27 season.
