Portland Winterhawks forward Kyle Chyzowski has committed to Denver, it was announced late last week.

A native of Surrey, BC, Chyzowski has 88 points (37 goals, 51 assists) in 54 regular season games for the Winterhawks this season.

In four-plus WHL seasons with Portland, Chyzowski has totaled 214 points (86 goals, 128 assists) in 261 regular season games.

A 2004-born skater, Chyzowski will likely make the jump to Denver once his junior eligibility expires. His ability to fill the stat sheet will prove valuable to the Pioneers' forward group.
